The Savior is a student at Sanada West High. He is a minor character in the series.
Appearance
The Saviour is a relatively tall young man of medium build with brown messy hair covering his right eye. He is seen wearing the West High uniform.
Personality
The Savior is soft-spoken and polite, but easily capable of turning aggressive should there be such a need. He is quite gallant and unhesistatingly steps in to rescue a young lady whom he thought was in trouble from thugs, even though he was outnumbered.
In the series
High School Boys and the Saviour
Motoharu, Karasawa, and the Vice President are begging Ringo if they could borrow her school's equipment for a while. Ringo refuses, worried that it'll land her in trouble. The three then follow her into a dark alley-way and continue to plead with her.
The Savior, walking by, hears only the last bit of their conversation and mistakes the boys for three delinquents trying to corner a helpless girl. Without hesitating, he steps in and asks them to stop bothering her. The boys are initially confused and then embarrassed when they understand he's accusing them of predatory behavior.
In order to prevent him from feeling embarrassed about the truth of the situation (that they are actually Ringo's friends), the trio try to play along. They act as thugs and allow themselves to get beaten down by him and have him "rescue" her. Due to Ringo's air-headedness, however, she does not understand the situation they tried to put her in.
She is about to reveal their identities, when cut short by a swift concealed kick from the VP. Unfortunately for the boys, this makes her think they wanted her to attack the Savior, and she attempts to do so. In the end, the act falls apart with the Savior figuring out they're all friends and that it was all a misunderstanding.
An end scene shows him sitting alone, probably dismayed at the turn of events.
Abilities
The Savior is no weakling. He managed to dispatch the student council trio with blows and kicks hard enough to make them bleed (although they were playing weak for his benefit).
Trivia
- He placed 19th in the popularity poll with 1,787 votes.
