Ikushima (生島) is a student of Sanada East High and a member of the High School Girls are Funky trio. She usually goes along with Yanagin and her wild ideas.
History[]
It is unknown where Ikushima went to junior school. She met the other members of her trio in middle school, as she seemed to be unaware of the story of the Archdemon.
Appearance[]
Ikushima is of average height, with black eyes and dark blue hair tied up in twin tails.
Her outfit is most commonly East High's uniform – a white long-sleeved shirt with a grey sweatshirt and a red-brown plaid skirt. She also wears navy blue knee-high socks with penny loafers.
Personality[]
Ikushima is naturally cheerful and energetic, and prone to hyperactivity at times. Like Yanagin, she comes up with strange ideas (or participates in them under Yanagin's lead). While sometimes coarse in her behaviour, she can be put off by Yanagin's level of vulgarity.
Like her friends, she is also averse to many things about high school boys, even generalizing their attributes and criticizing them to their faces. At the same time, unlike the others in her trio, she sometimes wishes for a boyfriend. She is shown to exhibit a feminine side occasionally, as opposed to the tomboyish Yanagin and neutral Habara.
Abilities[]
Ikushima is known for her wrestling, which is a sport she continues to play in high school. She also has some degree of culinary experience.

- Her eyes are colored blue like her hair in the color spreads of the manga.[3]
- Name etymology: The surname Ikushima means "life, living" (生) (iku) and "island" (島) (shima).
