Detailed SummaryEdit

The Literary Girl is sitting on the riverbank at sunset and reading a book, when she suddenly notices Motoharu behind her. She continues staring ahead, until Motoharu breaks the silence. He starts off with the line “I don’t like this wind”, which is enough to shock her. He continues, saying that the wind always took away from him what he considered important, and vows to stop it one day. Unable to sit still, the girl stands up and faces him. As she stares, he returns a smile before walking up the bank, leaving her confused.

Motoharu proceeds to the top of the bank, before covering his face with his hands, embarrassed that he got the wrong girl. Just then, a girl approaches him, who looks exactly like the Literary Girl from behind. She turns out to be his older sister, and when Motoharu asks her in anguish where she had been, she responds that she was at the convenience store.
